This course is designed for Door Supervisors who currently hold a licence from the Security Industry Authority (SIA) to work as a Door Supervisor and need to be brought up to date with the new licence-linked qualifications requirements.

How Long Is the Course?
In this qualification learners are expected to undertake approximately 23 hours over the period of 2 days of learning to complete the qualification.
Entry Requirements
Door Supervisors who currently hold a licence from the Security Industry Authority (SIA) to work as a Door Supervisor.
What You Will Learn
These include terror threats and the role of the security operative in the event of a threat, use of equipment relevant to a door supervisor, actions to take in relation to global (or critical) incidents, physical interventions and the implications of their us, the risks associated with using physical intervention, how to reduce the risks associated with physical intervention.
How You Will Be Assessed
This qualification is assessed by practical assessments and multiple-choice examinations.
