How Long Is the Course?
For this completion of this course, learners should expect to undertake a total qualification time (TQT) of 171-hours and of this 112-hours is recommended as guided learning (GL).
Entry Requirements
The approved age for this qualification is 16 + and the learner should be assessed to have good literacy and numeracy abilities before partaking in the course.
What You Will Learn
Topics covered within this qualification are the health and safety in the workplace. How to respond to emergencies during an event, how to provide information and advice to customers during the event. How to perform searches on people and their property before they enter the event. How to assist in the safeguarding of children and vulnerable people.
How You Will Be Assessed
Learners will be assessed by open-response questions and a practical demonstration.

Once completing this course, you will be fully prepared to take the next step by working in Event Security Operations, or learner could progress with continued learning at a higher education level.
